This is where Agape got our start back in 2008 as Agape Premarital Counseling. We specialized in long distance Christian Premarital Counseling and have since worked with over 150 couples from all over the world. We've worked with couples as young as 18 or 19 years of age, and all the way up to their late 60's. You're never too old to learn! We've also worked with professional athletes, people from all walks of life, and all sorts of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

We've got a simple and effective approach! We meet for eight one hour sessions and about 50% of what I teach comes straight from the word of God and the other 50% is based on my practical experiences from 38 years of marriage and my times of working with 200+ couples over the last 25 years.

The way I look at it, don't you owe it to yourself to make sure you've done everything possible to set your future marriage up for the greatest likelihood of success?

Think about this for a minute, we need education and training in literally every area of our lives if we expect to do well, right? Take for instance, our professions. They may require a four, six or even eight-year degree or perhaps going to a two-year tech school to learn a skill or a trade.

Essentially, we go to great lengths and pains to be the best at whatever we do and set our minds on, so why would we not then apply that same approach to our future marriage? Especially to something that we're voluntarily signing up for, for the next 40, 50, 60+ years of our lives!!

In my humble opinion we should move heaven and earth to learn the knowledge, skills, and techniques to creating a 'til death do us part Christian marriage relationship before entering into it!!

Preparing for Marriage and this entire process is invaluable in helping couples considering marriage: to discern if God is calling them together as husband and wife, to learn what it takes to be married, to learn what each is accountable for. All the while, we will be creating a marriage that will last for a lifetime because it is based and rooted in Jesus Christ.

Officiating Wedding Ceremony: Some couples may desire that I perform the wedding ceremony which is also an option. I am an Ordained, Independent Minister of the Gospel by the National Association of Christian Ministers. If you live outside of the state of Minnesota and wish to have me perform your ceremony, because each states registration process is so different, we would need to look at each ceremony on a case by case basis.  There would be an additional cost with the time and travel, but regardless, it is something I would be privileged to do.
